Johannes Siir
Johannes Siir (11 May 1889 – 18 January 1941) was an Estonian military colonel and sport shooter. He was born in Kolga Rural Municipality, Harju County. He participated in World War I and the Estonian War of Independence. In 1933 he graduated from Tondi military school. Estonian War Of Independence
The Estonian War of Independence ( et, Vabadussõda, literally "Freedom War"), also known as the Estonian Liberation War, was a defensive campaign of the Estonian Army and its allies, most notably the United Kingdom, against the Bolshevik westward offensive of 1918–1919 and the 1919 aggression of the ''Baltische Landeswehr''.
