Johann Tobias Turley
Johann Tobias Turley, also Thurley (4 August 1773 – 9 April 1829), was a German organ builder based in Brandenburg. Life Turley was born in Treuenbrietzen as the son of the baker Johann Friedrich Turley (1728–1783). After the early death of his father, he learned the same trade at the request of his mother. In 1793, he became a citizen and master baker in Treuenbrietzen. Turley was self-taught in organ building and in 1796 created a first organ in the Dorfkirche Brachwitz (Treuenbrietzen), Dorfkirche in Brachwitz. In 1814, he gave up the baker's trade and turned entirely to organ building. Wolf Bergelt
Wolf Bergelt (born 4 October 1951) is a German author, organist and organ scholar. Life Berglelt was born in Oederan, Erzgebirge. Bergelt received his first organ lessons from Horst Schröter at the Silbermann organ of the town church of Oederan until his church music studies in Dresden. He completed his compulsory military service as a singer in the Erich-Weinert-Ensemble Berlin. He then worked as a music editor while continuing his church music studies in Halle (Saale), where he dealt with music-historical, music-psychological and instrumental issues, among other things. From 1975 to 1980, he worked as a cantor and organist in Berlin and Prenzlau. Karl Ludwig Alexander Schuke (6 November 1906 – 7 May 1987) was a German organ builder. The son of the organ builder Alexander Schuke, he continued, together with his brother Hans-Joachim Schuke, to run their father's company in Potsdam until 1953, when he founded another organ building company, the Karl Schuke Berliner Orgelbauwerkstatt in West Berlin. They have built organs internationally in Korea, Australia and the U.S. Life Born in Potsdam, the son of the organ builder Alexander Schuke, he attended school from 1912 to 1922 and graduated with from the humanistic Viktoria-Gymnasium in Potsdam.
