Johan Vorster
Eden is a South African pop band. Originally made up of Jay, Paulo, Johan, and Sean, the band debuted during the popular South African Aardklop Festival followed by a tour all over South Africa releasing their album ''In'' in 1997. After Sean Else left in 2006, the boy band continued as a trio. Since 2003, the band has released three more albums, ''Point of No Return'' (2003), ''Eden'' (2006) and ''Knieë Lam'' (2008), a live DVD ''Live at The Mardi Gras'' (2008) and a compilation album Dekade (2009). They are signed to Coleske Artists. The debut was with the limited edition album release titled ''In'' on the local label Volstruis Plate. 2011 Rugby World Cup
The 2011 Rugby World Cup was the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The International Rugby Board (IRB) selected New Zealand as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa at a meeting in Dublin on 17 November 2005. 2007 Rugby World Cup
The 2007 Rugby World Cup was the sixth Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. Twenty nations competed for the Webb Ellis Cup in the tournament, which was hosted by France from 7 September to 20 October. France won the hosting rights in 2003, beating a bid from England. The competition consisted of 48 matches over 44 days; 42 matches were played in ten cities throughout France, as well as four in Cardiff, Wales, and two in Edinburgh, Scotland. Karlien van Jaarsveld (born 1985) is a South African singer-songwriter in Afrikaans. Her debut album, ''As the Curtain Falls'', was released in 2010. Previously a member of a rock group, she is now a solo artist who has won several awards in South Africa. Early life Karlien van Jaarsveld was born on 21 December 1985, in Paarl, South Africa, the eldest of three children. Her brother, Bobby van Jaarsveld, is also a singer and she started performing with him in 2005 as his guitarist and background singer. She also sang a duet with her brother on his first album. Steve Hofmeyr (born 29 August 1964) is a South African singer, songwriter, writer, actor and former TV presenter. Personal life Hofmeyr married actress Natasha Sutherland, whom he had met on the set of '' Egoli: Place of Gold'' in 1998. They had two sons. Aardklop
Aardklop is an annual South African arts festival held in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Potchefstroom has always been a cultural city and home to several well-known South African writers and artists. The Aardklop National Arts Festival has been in existence from 1998 and has since become a bastion of arts and culture in South Africa. The festival incorporates predominantly, but not exclusively, Afrikaans theatre, music, cabaret and visual arts, presented in a variety of venues across the town. A large crafts market and open-air performances also form an integral part of the festival. The event annually draws more than 700 artists over a period of 6 days.
