Johan Jørgen Lange Hanssen
Johan Jørgen Lange Hanssen (18 November 1821 - 23 December 1889) was a Norwegian politician. Personal life He was born in 1821 in Christiania as the son of jurist and politician Even Hanssen and his wife Barbara Abigael Lange. He had a younger brother Peter Nicolai Freberg Hansen who became a jurist like his father. In December 1853 he married Lovise Jacobine Lange. She hailed from Arendal, and was the daughter of government minister Otto Vincent Lange and Anne Nicoline Aall. Anne Nicoline Aall was the daughter of Jacob Aall and niece of Jørgen and Niels Aall. All these people were influential politicians. Furthermore, Otto Vincent Lange was a maternal uncle of Johan Jørgen Lange Hanssen, and as such Johan Jørgen was married to his first cousin. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Nils L. Landmark (11 March 1775 – 29 October 1859) was a Norwegian jurist, farmer and politician. Personal life He was born in Christiania to Nils Svensson and Karen Andersdatter Killerud. Aust-Agder Politicians
Aust-Agder (, en, "East Agder") was a county (''fylke'') in Norway until 1 January 2020, when it was merged with Vest-Agder to form Agder county. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. A member of Stortinget is known in Norwegian as a ''stortingsrepresentant'', literally "Storting representative". The assembly is led by a president and, since 2009, five vice presidents: the presidium. The members are allocated to twelve standing committees as well as four procedural committees. Hans Nicolai Lange
Hans Nicolai Lange (2 December 1795 – 24 December 1848) was a Norwegian priest and politician. Biography He was born at Jevnaker in Oppland, Norway. He was the son of Johan Jørgen Lange (1754-1814) and Dorothea Helena Larsen (1771-1824). He father was a parish priest. Lange had five siblings. He was the elder brother of politicians Otto Vincent Lange and Ulrik Frederik Lange, brother-in-law of Nils Landmark and Even Hanssen and uncle of Johan Jørgen Lange Hanssen. In 1825 he married Anna Rebekka Blix (1799-1874). They had no children. He was the first teacher at the Bragernes borgerskole in Drammen, working there from 1825–1846. Niels Aall
Niels Aall (1 December 1769 – 23 October 1854) was a Norwegian estate owner, businessman and politician. Family Niels Aall was the son of lumber merchant Nicolai Benjamin Aall (1739–98) from Porsgrunn and his wife Amjørg Jørgensdatter Wesseltoft (1741-1815). He was the brother of Jacob and Jørgen Aall. Aall was married twice, first from 1794 to Mariane Møller until her death in 1796, then from 1804 to Christine Johanne Blom until his own death in 1854. Biography After education in France and England, Aall settled as a merchant in Porsgunn. From 1810 he was the county clerk in Skien and Porsgrunn, before being appointed to Christian Frederik's government, where he was minister of trade and customs.
