Johan Jacobs (actor)
Johan Jacobs (born 1 March 1997) is a Swiss road and cyclo-cross cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He competed in the men's under-23 event at the 2016 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships. Career Jacobs early career started in cyclo-cross, winning multiple national titles and world cup races. In 2015 Jacobs won the eighth race in the Superprestige at Middelkerke series. This stopped Eli Iserbyt from winning every race in the series. At the Junior Koppenbergcross Jacobs attacked from the start and held off everyone for the entire race forcing Iserbyt and Thijs Wolsink to work together. Jacobs elected not to ride cyclo-cross race in his final year as an Under-23 instead wanting to focus on road cycling, this put him into the spotlight for a contract with . The 2014–2015 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup events and season-long competition took place between 10 October 2014 and 26 January 2014, organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The men's competition took place without the Belgian Niels Albert, twice the winner, who announced his retirement from the sport in May, 2014 because of a heart condition. Katie Compton of the United States had dominated the women's competition last year and was attempting to defend her title.
