Johan Bülow Wamberg
Johan Bülow Wamberg (15 May 1786 – 8 June 1852) was a Norwegian politician. He was born in Hvideseid as the son of Nils Wamberg and his wife Sussanne Sophie Saxe. His father had migrated from Denmark to work as a district stipendiary magistrate. Johan B. Wamberg was to a large degree raised by politician and businessperson Niels Aall. He went on to found his own company in Skien. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1827, representing the constituency of ''Skien og Porsgrund''. Kviteseid
Kviteseid is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Telemark in the Counties of Norway, county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Upper Telemark and Vest-Telemark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Kviteseid. The parish of ''Hvideseid'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Kviteseid Seminar was the first public school which started in 1819 and was in operation until 1889. Kviteseid Library (''Kviteseid Folkebibliotek'') was founded in 1895. The library was first based on a book collection from Kviteseid Seminar. The main industries of the municipality are forestry, agriculture, tourism, and hydroelectricity, hydroelectric power. Niels Aall
Niels Aall (1 December 1769 – 23 October 1854) was a Norwegian estate owner, businessman and politician. Family Niels Aall was the son of lumber merchant Nicolai Benjamin Aall (1739–98) from Porsgrunn and his wife Amjørg Jørgensdatter Wesseltoft (1741-1815). He was the brother of Jacob and Jørgen Aall. Aall was married twice, first from 1794 to Mariane Møller until her death in 1796, then from 1804 to Christine Johanne Blom until his own death in 1854. Biography After education in France and England, Aall settled as a merchant in Porsgunn. From 1810 he was the county clerk in Skien and Porsgrunn, before being appointed to Christian Frederik's government, where he was minister of trade and customs. He was one of the two Norwegian negotiators, alongside Jonas Collett during the Convention of Moss where the Swedish king and the Norwegian government signed a ceasefire agreement following the short war between the two countries. Skien
Skien () is a city and municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county in Norway. In modern times it is regarded as part of the traditional region of Grenland, although historically it belonged to Grenmar/Skiensfjorden, while Grenland referred the Norsjø area and Bø. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Cappelen (family)
Cappelen is a Germans, German-origined Norwegian family. Johan von Cappelen immigrated to Norway in 1653, and became bailiff in Lier, Norway, Lier. A number of his descendants were businessmen, land owners, civil servants and politicians. The family is especially known for the former publishing company J.W. Cappelens Forlag. Variants of the name Cappelen are also used throughout Germany by many other families.
