Johan Baumann
Johan Baumann (born 8 August 1934) is a Norwegian dogsledder, sports administrator and politician. He served as president of the Norwegian Ski Federation from 1987 to 1995. He won six national titles in dogsledding and was awarded the King's Cup in 1960. From 1972 to 1978 he chaired the Association for the Promotion of Skiing. Norwegian Ski Federation
The Norwegian Ski Federation ( no, Norges Skiforbund) is headquartered in Oslo, Norway and is the national representative of the International Ski Federation. Founded on 21 February 1908, it covers the skiing disciplines of alpine, cross-country, freestyle, Nordic combined, ski jumping, and snowboarding. The organization is also involved in the promotion of skiing in Norway, cooperating with the Association for the Promotion of Skiing. The current president is Tove Moe Dyrhaug, and vice president is Aage Schaanning. Drammen () is a city and municipality in Viken (county), Viken, Norway. The port and river city of Drammen is centrally located in the south-eastern and most populated part of Norway. Drammen municipality also includes smaller towns and villages such as Konnerud, Svelvik, Mjøndalen and Skoger. Per Ottesen
Per Ottesen (born 19 October 1932) is a Norwegian sports official. Hailing from Trondheim, Ottesen chaired Byåsen IL and Sør-Trøndelag District Skiing Association. In 1982 he became vice president of the Norwegian Ski Federation, being elected president in 1985. He is largely credited for landing the 1997 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships to his hometown. Ottesen also led the World Championships organizational committee; however, after falling out with managing director Carl Petter Brun, he resigned only 93 days before the opening ceremony. Jan Jensen (skiing)
Jan Jensen (14 July 1944 – 22 October 2002) was a Norwegian sports official. Jensen chaired Østfold District Skiing Association and Østfold District Federation of Sports. In 1994, he was elected deputy vice president of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports, stepping down to status of board member in 1995, when he was elected president of the Norwegian Ski Federation. In 1999, he was a contender for the presidency of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports, but at the national convention he lost the vote to Kjell O. Kran, and left the board as well. He remained president of the Norwegian Skiing Federation until his death from cancer in October 2002.
