Joey Gase
Joseph Robert Gase (born February 8, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the Nos. 35 and 53 Ford Mustang and Toyota Supra for Emerling-Gase Motorsports. Early career and personal life Gase started racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in the track's junior classes in 2001. He won the track modified B championship at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in 2007, the youngest driver to do so. In 2009, he became the youngest driver to win the track's late model championship at Hawkeye Downs Speedway. Gase graduated from Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids in 2011. Gase's mother, Mary Jo, died from a brain aneurysm when Gase was 18 years old. Emerling-Gase Motorsports
Emerling-Gase Motorsports (formerly Joey Gase Racing) is an American stock car racing team that competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team was founded in November 2021 with NASCAR owner-driver Joey Gase, then called Joey Gase Racing. In December 2021, it was announced that NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver Patrick Emerling had partnered with the team, and that the team would be renamed to Emerling-Gase Motorsports. Atlanta Motor Speedway
Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly known Atlanta International Raceway from 1960 to 1990) is a 1.54-mile entertainment facility in Hampton, Georgia, United States, 20 miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. It has annually hosted NASCAR Cup Series stock car races since its inauguration in 1960. The venue was bought by Speedway Motorsports in 1990. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway
The La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway is a semi-banked asphalt oval racetrack in West Salem, Wisconsin. The outer track is 5/8 mile and the inner track is a 1/4 mile. The speedway has progressive banking in the corners, from 5 degrees on the bottom to 11 degrees on the top. The track was built at the fairgrounds for La Crosse County. It used to host an event on the American Speed Association (ASA) and the ASA Late Model Series before the demise of the series. It currently hosts annual touring events on the ARCA Midwest Tour and Mid American Stock Car Series.
