Joel M. Miller
Joel M. Miller (born 1943) is an American politician from the state of New York. He represented District 102 in the New York State Assembly, which comprises Hyde Park, Fishkill, the town of Poughkeepsie, Clinton, Wappinger and La Grange within Dutchess County, New York. He is a Republican. Miller served in the United States Air Force on active duty from 1967 to 1969, remaining in the Air Force Reserve as a captain until approximately 1977. He is currently a major in the New York State Guard. After returning to New York in 1969, Miller established a dental practice in Poughkeepsie, which he maintained for the ensuing three decades. He served as a member of the executive committee of the Duchess County Dental Society for 26 years. He served as treasurer of the same organization for five years and was its president for two years. New York State Guard
The New York Guard (NYG) is the state defense force of New York State, also called The New York State Military Reserve. Originally called the New York State Militia it can trace its lineage back to the American Revolution and the War of 1812. The organization now has a unified command structure, while formerly it contained an Army Division and an Air Division. The missions of the New York Guard include augmentation, assistance, and support of the New York Army National Guard and New York Air National Guard respectively and aide to civil authorities in New York State. John Faso
John James Faso Jr. (born August 25, 1952) is an American attorney and politician who served as the U.S. representative for from 2017 to 2019. Faso was first elected to the post in 2016. A Republican, Faso previously represented the 102nd district in the New York State Assembly from 1987 to 2002 and served as Assembly Minority Leader from 1998 to 2002. Faso ran for New York State Comptroller in 2002 and for Governor of New York in 2006, but did not prevail in either race. Howard D. Mills III (born May 29, 1964) is an American insurance consultant and former politician from Goshen, New York. He served as New York's Superintendent of Insurance from 2005 to 2006, and previously held elective office in both the New York State Assembly and the Town of Wallkill.
