Joel Findlay
Joel Alexander Findlay (born 29 June 1989) is an Australian male badminton player. In 2014, he won the men's doubles title at the Australian National Badminton Championships teamed up with fellow Victorian Luke Chong. He and Chong also won bronze medal at the 2014 Oceania Badminton Championships. In 2017, he won the silver medal at the Oceania Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Gronya Somerville. Ballarat ( ) is a city in the Central Highlands (Victoria), Central Highlands of Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. Matthew Chau
Matthew Chau (born 9 November 1994) is an Australian badminton player. He was four times men's doubles Oceania Champion winning in 2015–2018. Chau competed in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside Sawan Serasinghe. Chau picked up his first badminton racquet at age 10, following his parents to the Monash University Badminton Club where they played socially. The now 22-year-old fell in love with the all rounded nature of the sport and says he enjoys that badminton demands speed, strength, endurance, skill, tactical smarts and hard work from its athletes. Chau first partnered with Serasinghe at the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Festival and the duo went on to secure the Rio quota spot for Australia by winning the 2016 Oceania Championships title. Jeffrey Tho (born 14 April 1988) is an Australian male badminton player. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. In 2014, he won the gold medal at the Oceania Championships in the men's singles event, he also won bronze in 2008. Setyana Mapasa
Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa (born 15 August 1995) is an Indonesian-born Australian badminton player. Mapasa won a silver medal at the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. She officially became an Australian citizen in 2014. She was selected to join the national team compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She was four times women's doubles Oceania champions from 2017 to 2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe. Mapasa represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She played in badminton women's doubles with her partner, Gronya Somerville, winning one and losing the other. Sawan Serasinghe
Sawan Serasinghe (born 21 February 1994) is a former badminton player from Australia. He won seven Oceania Championships titles, five in the men's doubles and two in the mixed doubles. Serasinghe competed in the men's doubles event at the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside Matthew Chau. Career Serasinghe started playing badminton since the age of five, he was born in Galle, Sri Lanka, and moved to Australia when he was 11-years-old. He trains at the National Training Centre in Melbourne, and took out back-to-back Oceania Championships titles with Chau in 2015 and 2016. The 22-year-old also won the 2014 Sydney International Challenge mixed doubles with Setyana Mapasa, against some of the best players in the world.
