Jeff Tho
Jeffrey Tho (born 14 April 1988) is an Australian male badminton player. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. In 2014, he won the gold medal at the Oceania Championships in the men's singles event, he also won bronze in 2008. Personal life Prior to beginning his badminton career, Tho worked as a dentist in Ballarat, Victoria. John Moody (badminton)
John David Moody (born 21 February 1983) is a New Zealand badminton player. In 2002 and 2004 he won the Fiji International, in 2005 the Ballarat Eureka International and the Waikato International, and in 2006 the North Harbour International and the Waikato International. He represented New Zealand at the Badminton at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games and Badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics. At the Commonwealth Games, Moody reaching in to the third round in the men's singles event, quarterfinalists in the men's doubles event, and also the semi-finalists in the mixed team event. He won a match in the bronze medal match against the Indian team, but his team was defeated 3–1. Sawan Serasinghe
Sawan Serasinghe (born 21 February 1994) is a former badminton player from Australia. He won seven Oceania Championships titles, five in the men's doubles and two in the mixed doubles. Serasinghe competed in the men's doubles event at the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside Matthew Chau. Career Serasinghe started playing badminton since the age of five, he was born in Galle, Sri Lanka, and moved to Australia when he was 11-years-old. He trains at the National Training Centre in Melbourne, and took out back-to-back Oceania Championships titles with Chau in 2015 and 2016. The 22-year-old also won the 2014 Sydney International Challenge mixed doubles with Setyana Mapasa, against some of the best players in the world. Matthew Chau
Matthew Chau (born 9 November 1994) is an Australian badminton player. He was four times men's doubles Oceania Champion winning in 2015–2018. Chau competed in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside Sawan Serasinghe. Chau picked up his first badminton racquet at age 10, following his parents to the Monash University Badminton Club where they played socially. The now 22-year-old fell in love with the all rounded nature of the sport and says he enjoys that badminton demands speed, strength, endurance, skill, tactical smarts and hard work from its athletes. Chau first partnered with Serasinghe at the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Festival and the duo went on to secure the Rio quota spot for Australia by winning the 2016 Oceania Championships title. Chau also took home the men's doubles title with Serasinghe at the Waikato International tournament and competed at his first World Championships 2016 at just 20 years old in Jakarta, Indonesia.
