Joel Andersson
Eric Joel Andersson (born 11 November 1996) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland as a right-back. Club career A native of Gothenburg, Andersson started playing football with Västra Frölunda IF. At the age of 15, he also made some appearances for the first team, who at the time were competing in the fourth-tier Division 2. In 2013, Andersson moved to BK Häcken, another team in the Gothenburg area, but the first two years he spent in the youth academy. He was promoted to the first team in 2015 alongside his brother, Adam Andersson, and began making regular appearances in Allsvenskan. Joel and Adam, however, were not the only twins appearing for the team, given the presence of the two Gustafson's, Samuel and Simon. From the 2016 season, Joel Andersson established himself permanently as the starting right-back in the team. The 2016 Allsvenskan, part of the 2016 Swedish football season, is the 92nd season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. The fixtures were released on 9 December 2015 and it included a meeting between the two most recent champions IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF (in Malmö) as the opening match, a replay of the last round of the previous season. The season started on 2 April 2016 and ended in November 2016. IFK Norrköping were the defending champions after winning the title in the last round in the previous season. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. 2019–20 Danish Superliga
The 2019–20 Danish Superliga (officially the 3F Superliga for sponsorship reasons) was the 30th season of the Danish Superliga. F.C. Copenhagen were the defending champions. The season started on 12 July 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020, before being suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season instead ended on 29 July 2020. Teams Vejle Boldklub finished as loser in the relegation play-offs in the 2018–19 season and was relegated to the 2019–20 1st Division along with Vendsyssel FF who lost their relegation play-offs as well. The 2015–16 Svenska Cupen will be the 60th season of Svenska Cupen and the fourth season with the current format. The winners of the competition will earn a place in the second qualifying round of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition. Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. The winners qualify for the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League. The winner is awarded Gustaf VI Adolf Cup. Compared to cups in many other countries, Svenska Cupen attracts considerably less public interest and even the cup final is rarely sold out.
