Joe Ogilvie
Norman Joseph Ogilvie (born April 8, 1974) is a retired American professional golfer. Ogilvie was born in Lancaster, Ohio and graduated from Duke University. He played on the PGA Tour and picked up his only win on tour at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee in 2007. He has also won four tournaments on the Nationwide Tour. In 2014, Ogilvie announced his retirement from professional golf. He ended his career at the Wyndham Championship, his 399th PGA Tour start. He finished 77th, last of those who made the cut. Outside of golf, Ogilvie is an follower of the stock market and owns an investment advisory firm. He is a Republican. Lancaster, Ohio
Lancaster ( ) is a city in Fairfield County, Ohio, in the south-central part of the state. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 40,552. The city is near the Hocking River, about southeast of Columbus and southwest of Zanesville. It is the county seat of Fairfield County. Jacob's Creek Open
The South Australian Open was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Nationwide Tour. History The event started in 1933 as the South Australian Close Championship. In 1950 it was renamed the South Australian Open, although it was only in 1952 that it was opened up to players from outside the state. In the late 1960s, there was no sponsor for the tournament. Therefore "only local club professionals competed." In 1975 there was a similar problem. The South Australian Brewing Company did not renew its sponsorship. Due to economic trouble in the country no other companies were willing to sponsor the event. The event did not take place that year. The event was retitled the Jacob's Creek Open Championship from 2002 to 2007, sponsored by the Jacob's Creek wine brand, and was co-sanctioned during that period by the United States-based Nationwide Tour. Chris Riley (golfer)
Chris J. Riley (born December 8, 1973) is an American professional golfer and coach. Riley was born in San Diego, California. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he became the first four-year All-American in any sport. In 1995 he played for the United States in the Walker Cup. Riley turned professional in 1996 and spent time on the Nationwide Tour. He became a member of the PGA Tour in 1999 and made the top thirty on the money list in 2002 and 2003. His sole PGA Tour victory came at the 2002 Reno-Tahoe Open. He was a member of the losing 2004 United States Ryder Cup team and also played on a winning American team in that year's Tommy Bahama Challenge, which is an international match for pros aged 30 and under. Perry Moss (born July 12, 1969) is an American professional golfer. Moss was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He played college golf at Louisiana State University where he won twice and was a two-time All-American. He turned professional in 1991. Moss played on the Ben Hogan Tour (now Nationwide Tour) in 1992, winning once at the Ben Hogan Texarkana Open. Robin Freeman (golfer)
Robin Freeman (born May 7, 1959) is an American professional golfer. He has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. Freeman was born in St. Charles, Missouri. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma and turned professional in 1983. Freeman began playing on the PGA Tour in 1989 after being medalist at qualifying school in 1988. He has bounced back and forth between the PGA Tour and its developmental tour, the Nationwide Tour. He won twice on the Nationwide Tour, both in 1998. His best finish on the PGA Tour is a T-2 at the 1995 GTE Byron Nelson Classic. After turning 50 in 2009, Freeman also began playing on the Champions Tour. His best finishes are a pair of T-8s at the 2009 U.S. Senior Open and the 2010 Senior PGA Championship. John Elliott (born September 5, 1963) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Elliott joined the Nationwide Tour in 1991 and didn't find much success but went through qualifying school and earned his PGA Tour card for 1992. He struggled during his rookie year and had to go through qualifying school again to retain his card. He returned to the Nationwide Tour in 1994 where he won the Nike Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic. He returned to the PGA Tour in 1996, earning his Tour card through qualifying school for the third time. After another unsuccessful year on tour, he returned to the Nationwide Tour in 1997 where he won the Nike Alabama Classic.
