Joe Greenhalgh
Joseph Andrew Greenhalgh (born 9 January 1985) is an English cricketer. Greenhalgh is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Greenhalgh represented the Derbyshire Cricket Board in a single List A match against Bedfordshire in the 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was played in 2001. In his only List A match, he scored a single run and took a single wicket at cost of 49 runs. Chesterfield is a market town and unparished area in the Borough of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, north of Derby and south of Sheffield at the confluence of the River Rother and River Hipper. The 2002 Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 29 August 2001 and 31 August 2002. Bedfordshire County Cricket Club is one of 20 Minor County clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Bedfordshire. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right-handed spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. Their normal delivery is an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch.
