Joseph Green (1706 – December 11, 1780) was an American clergyman and poet who published ''The Disappointed Cooper'' in 1743, mocking an old man's marriage to a much younger woman as well as criticizing the behavior of some New Light ministers. Biography Joseph Green was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1706. He graduated from Harvard University in 1726, and became a successful businessman. He has been called "the foremost wit of his day." Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi (; 9 or 10 October 1813 – 27 January 1901) was an Italian composer best known for his operas. He was born near Busseto to a provincial family of moderate means, receiving a musical education with the help of a local patron. Milburn are an indie rock band from Sheffield, England, that consisted of Joe Carnall, Louis Carnall, Tom Rowley, and Joe Green. They announced their split on 28 March 2008, with the band playing one final gig at Carling Academy Sheffield, Sheffield's Carling Academy on 24 May 2008 before reuniting in 2016. History Formation Milburn's formation came after years of friendship through playing football together. Joe Green started playing the drums and Tom and Louis Carnall both learned to play guitar. The three then decided to form a band, in which they would play cover versions of songs by bands they admired. However the band required a singer and bass player, so they encouraged Louis Carnall's younger brother Joe Carnall to join, despite him not knowing how to sing or play bass. Joseph Green (1934 – 3 February 2017) was the founding chair of the Department of Theatre and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts (1973–1980) at York University, Toronto. He also worked as a producer for a number of theatre, film and television projects. Early life Joe Green was born and raised in Philadelphia. He studied Theatre at Temple University, graduating with a BA in 1956. He went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Dramatic Theory and Rhetoric at Indiana University Bloomington in 1964.
