Joe Durant
Joseph Scott Durant (born April 7, 1964) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He was previously a member of the PGA Tour, where he was a four-time winner. Early life Durant was born in Pensacola, Florida. He attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where he majored in Marketing and graduated in 1987. At Huntingdon, he was a three-time NAIA All-American and won the 1987 NAIA Championship. Professional career Durant turned professional in 1987. He has won four times on the PGA Tour. Durant won the 2001 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic with a score of 324 (-36), setting the tournament record which stands today. He has featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. 2015 Champions Tour
The 2015 Champions Tour was the 36th season for the golf tour now known as PGA Tour Champions since it officially began in 1980 as the Senior PGA Tour. The season was to have had 26 official money events, including five majors, but the PGA Tour removed two September events during the season, reducing it to 24 events. Jeff Maggert won the most tournaments, four, including two majors, while Bernhard Langer led the money list, scoring average list and the Charles Schwab Cup. It also proved to be the final year for the tour under the "Champions Tour" name; the PGA Tour rebranded the circuit as "PGA Tour Champions" after this season. Brett Quigley (born August 18, 1969) is an American professional golfer. He currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions, where he won the 2020 Morocco Champions. He was previously a member of the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. Early life Brett Quigley was born on August 18, 1969 in Fort Devens, Massachusetts. He is the nephew of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfer Dana Quigley. He won the 1987 U.S. Junior Amateur and attended the University of South Carolina, where he was twice an Academic All-American, before turning professional in 1991. The Sanderson Farms Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, played annually in Mississippi. It moved to the Country Club of Jackson in Jackson in autumn 2014, early in the 2015 season. The tournament has been part of the PGA Tour schedule since 1968, and has raised more than $8.1 million for statewide charities. Troy Jason Matteson (born November 8, 1979) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Matteson was born in Rockledge, Florida. Franklin Ray Lickliter II (born July 28, 1969) is an American professional golfer. He featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, going as high as 41st in 2001. Early life Lickliter was born in Middletown, Ohio, adjacent to his hometown of Franklin, Ohio. Lickliter is a 1987 graduate of Franklin High School and a 1991 graduate of nearby Wright State University. Professional career Lickliter turned professional in 1991. Funai Classic At The Walt Disney World Resort
The Walt Disney World Golf Classic was an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. The tournament was played on the Palm and Magnolia courses at the Walt Disney World Resort. It was played under several names, reflecting sponsorship changes. The tournament was founded in 1971 as the Walt Disney World Open Invitational. From 1974 to 1981, the tournament was played as a two-man team event with a better-ball format. Title sponsors have included Oldsmobile, National Car Rental, Funai, and Children's Miracle Network.
