Joe Alleva
Joseph Louis Alleva (born c. 1952) is the former athletics director at Louisiana State University and Duke University. Duke Alleva began as athletic director in 1998. Alleva hired three football coaches in his 11 years: Carl Franks, Ted Roof, and David Cutcliffe. Franks' record in his five years was 7–45, including two 0–11 seasons. Roof went 6–45. Despite an initial preference for former UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell, Alleva eventually settled on Cutcliffe as Roof's replacement. Cutcliffe won ACC Coach of the Year in 2012. His first baseball coach hired was Bill Hillier who compiled a 121–214 record. In the beginning of the Duke lacrosse case, on April 5, 2006, Joe Alleva forced Duke lacrosse coach Mike Pressler to resign under threat and faced criticism for his handling of the case. An athletic director (commonly "athletics director" or "AD") is an administrator at many American clubs or institutions, such as colleges and universities, as well as in larger high schools and middle schools, who oversees the work of coaches and related staff involved in athletic programs. Position at institution Modern athletic directors are often in a precarious position, especially at the larger institutions. Although technically in charge of all of the coaches, they are often far less well-compensated and also less famous, with few having their own television and radio programs as many coaches now do. LSU Gymnastics Training Facility
The LSU Gymnastics Training Facility is a gymnastics facility located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. The facility, opened in 2016, serves as the stand-alone practice facility for the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team. The training facility is a 38,000 square foot facility with approximately 18,000 square feet of practice space in the gym area. The practice area features four competition-style beams, three vault runways with various surfaces for landings, four sets of uneven bars and a floor exercise area. The facility also includes the team locker room, coaches locker rooms, training room, cardio area, dance studio, team squad room, a video review room with theater seating that is also the team meeting room. Scott Woodward is currently the athletics director at Louisiana State University (LSU). Woodward was previously Director of Athletics at the University of Washington from 2008 to 2016 and at Texas A&M University from 2016 to 2019. Early life, education and career Woodward is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a 1981 alumnus of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. He attended college at Louisiana State University earning a bachelor's degree in political science in 1985. 2018–19 LSU Tigers Basketball Team
The 2018–19 LSU Tigers basketball team represented Louisiana State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Will Wade (basketball)
Frank William Wade (born November 26, 1982) is an American college basketball coach. He has served as the head coach at three institutions: Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball, Chattanooga from 2013 to 2015, VCU Rams men's basketball, VCU from 2015 to 2017, and LSU Tigers men's basketball, LSU from 2017 to 2022. Hurricane Matthew was an extremely powerful Atlantic hurricane which caused catastrophic damage and a humanitarian crisis in Haiti, as well as widespread devastation in the southeastern United States. Les Miles
Leslie Edwin Miles (born November 10, 1953) is a former American football coach. He most recently served as the head coach at Kansas. His head coaching career began with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, where he coached from 2001 to 2004. Following that, he coached LSU from 2005 to 2016. The LSU Tennis Complex is a tennis facility located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. The facility, built in 2015, serves as the home of the LSU Tigers and LSU Lady Tigers tennis teams. It has a seating capacity of 1,400. The facility provides six indoor tennis courts with a second floor grandstand that seats 300 covering 75,000 square feet. The complex also includes 12 lighted outdoor courts with a grandstand.
