Job Castillo
Job Castillo Galindo (born 1 November 1992) is a Mexican badminton player. He competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. He was the bronze medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games in the men's doubles event with his partner Lino Muñoz. Career Castillo started to playing badminton at the aged of seven, influenced by his sister who is a badminton coach. He affiliate with Code Jalisco team, and has won five National Championships title. Kevin Cordón
Kevin Haroldo Cordón Buezo (born November 28, 1986) is a Guatemalan badminton player. He won two men's singles title at the Pan American Games, four title at the Pan Am Championships (3 in singles and 1 in doubles), and six title at the Central American and Caribbean Games (4 in singles and 2 in doubles). He is a four time Olympian for Guatemala participating at the 2008, 2012, 2016 and the 2020 Olympic Games. Career Born in La Unión, Zacapa, Cordón was named after former England international footballer Kevin Keegan, of whom his father was a fan. In spite of badminton not being popular in Guatemala during his childhood, he became a badminton player as he thought it would give him a better chance of one day becoming an Olympian than if he played a different sport, being the first member of his family to practice the sport. Phillip Chew
Phillip Hung Chew (born May 16, 1994) is an American badminton player. He won two gold medals in men's and mixed doubles at the Badminton at the 2015 Pan American Games, 2015 Pan American Games. Chew also participated in the Badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Rio and Badminton at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's doubles, 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. He won the 2021 Pan Am Badminton Championships doubles with his brother Ryan Chew. He trains at the Orange County Badminton Club, which is founded by his grandfather, Don Chew. The Markham Pan Am Centre is a multi-purpose community and aquatics centre located in the new downtown area of Markham, Ontario, Canada. The facility was designed to host the badminton, table tennis and water polo events for the 2015 Pan American Games, held in nearby Toronto in July and August, 2015. The Mexican National Championship of Badminton is a nationwide competition of badminton held in Mexico since 1933. Badminton At The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics
Badminton competition at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics was held from August 15 to August 19, 2010 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Format and schedule 32 players from each event were drawn into eight groups. Of the eight groups, only the group winner of each group advanced into the knockout stage, starting with the quarterfinals. The group stage were played from August 15–16, 2010, while the knockput stage were played from August 17–19, 2010. Qualification Only players born between January 1, 1992, and December 31, 1993, are eligible to participate. Highest ranked men and women (one per National Olympic Committee) qualify according to continental quotas at youth continental championships or based on continental ranking list (Two quotas each for Africa, America and Oceania, while five quotas each for Asia and Europe).
