Joaquim Floriano de Godóy (born São Paulo, 4 January 1826, died 20 November 1907) was a Brazilian doctor and politician. The Empire of Brazil was a 19th-century state that broadly comprised the territories which form modern Brazil and (until 1828) Uruguay. Its government was a representative parliamentary constitutional monarchy under the rule of Emperors Dom Pedro I and his son Dom Pedro II.
