Jo Malone London is a British multinational cosmetics company, perfume and scented candle brand, founded by Jo Malone in 1990. It has been owned since 1999 by Estée Lauder. The brand is known for its perfumes, candles, bath products, and room scents. History and media The brand became popular in the United States following founder Jo Malone's appearance on ''The Oprah Winfrey Show''. In 1999, Jo Malone London (JML) sold the company to Estée Lauder Companies for "undisclosed millions". Christine Nagel (born 7 October 1959) is a Swiss perfumer. She has served as the in-house perfumer at Hermès since 2016. Prior to joining Hermès she created designer perfume hits like Narciso Rodriguez for Her (2003, with Francis Kurkdjian) and Miss Dior Chérie (2005).
