Jimmy Hartwig
William "Jimmy" Hartwig (born 5 October 1954) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He played for Kickers Offenbach, TSV 1860 Munich, Hamburger SV, 1. FC Köln and FC Homburg of the Bundesliga and for Austria Salzburg of Austria. The son of an African-American soldier and a German mother, Hartwig was one of the first black players in German and Austrian football. Hartwig won the European Cup in 1983 with Hamburger SV, and was three times German league champion in 1979, 1982 und 1983 and three times league runner-up with Hamburger SV. He also earned two caps for the West Germany national team, making him only the second non-white player (after Erwin Kostedde) to achieve this feat. Erwin Kostedde
Erwin Kostedde (born 21 May 1946) is a German former professional footballer who played as a striker. Career The son of a German mother and an African-American father, Kostedde was the first black player to play for West Germany, and was the top scorer in the Belgian League in 1970–71 and in Ligue 1 in 1979–80. He scored 98 goals in 218 Bundesliga matches. Kostedde won his first of three caps for West Germany in 1974. Personal life In 1990, Kostedde was accused of robbing an amusement hall, and spent six months in prison before being acquitted and receiving DM 3,000 compensation. Ching Chong
"Ching chong" and "ching chang chong" are ethnic slurs and racial pejorative terms sometimes used in English to mock the Chinese language, people of Chinese ancestry, or other people of East Asian descent perceived to be Chinese. The term is a crude imitation of Mandarin and Cantonese phonology. The phrases have often accompanied assaults or physical intimidation of East Asians, as have other racial slurs or imitation Chinese.
