Jimmy Dugdale
James Robert Dugdale (15 January 1932 – 26 February 2008) was an English professional footballer best known for his career with Aston Villa, with whom he won a F.A. Cup winner's medal in 1957, 2nd Division Championship 1960, Inaugural League Cup Winner 1961. His playing position was Centre-Half (i.e. centre-back in current parlance). Before playing for Villa, Dugdale started his career at Harrowby F.C. (Liverpool) before moving to West Bromwich Albion, with whom he won a FA Cup winner's medal in 1954. Dugdale was selected on three occasions for England B, while he also represented the FA XI and the Football League XI in 1953–54. He moved to Queens Park Rangers in October 1962, before retiring from the game due to injury in May 1963. Dugdale had a leg amputated in 1993. He died aged 76 after a long illness, leaving wife Dorothy, daughters Debbie and Nicola and son Russell. Ken Dugdale
Kenneth William Dugdale (born 7 December 1950) is an English association football coach and former player, who manages Norwegian club Vollen UL. Career Born in Liverpool, Dugdale spent his early career with Kirkby Town, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He later played non-league football with Wigan Athletic, New Brighton and Burscough. Dugdale later became a football coach, and was manager of the New Zealand national team from 1998 to 2002. Dugdale was in charge of New Zealand at the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup, and has also managed the Football Kingz. He has also managed Vollen UL in Norway. Alan Dugdale
Alan Dugdale (born 11 September 1952 in Liverpool) is an English retired professional football central defender. He spent most of his career in England with one season in the North American Soccer League. In 1969, Dugdale began his career with Coventry City. In 1970, he was part of the Coventry City youth team which lost the championship to Tottenham Hotspur. Dugdale did not break into the first team until 1974 and transferred to Charlton Athletic in October 1977 for £ 50,000. In the fall of 1979, he signed with the Tulsa Roughnecks as it prepared for the 1979–1980 North American Soccer League indoor season. He then played the entire 1980 and six games of the 1981 outdoor seasons.
