Jimmie Strimell
Jimmie Strimell (born 3 December 1980) is a Swedish singer and composer. He was the founding member, vocalist and main composer of Dead by April until March 2013. Strimell rejoined Dead by April in April 2017, shortly after Christoffer Andersson's departure from the band. In March 2020, he was released from the band for a second time due to his ongoing drug and alcohol addiction. After being released from Dead by April for the second time, Strimell went out to form a new band called Vindicta. Vindicta released their first single called "Slice It" on October 1st, 2021. Melodic Death Metal
Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal. Pioneered by the English heavy metal band Carcass with their 1993 album ''Heartwork'', melodic death metal developed further in Sweden (developed by bands like At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, and In Flames) in the mid-1990s. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Pop Rock

Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression. Dead by April is a Swedish metalcore band from Gothenburg, formed in February 2007 by Pontus Hjelm and Jimmie Strimell. Nightrage
Nightrage is a Greek/Swedish melodic death metal band originally from Thessaloniki. They later re-located to Gothenburg, Sweden. History Formation and ''Sweet Vengeance'' (2000–2003) Nightrage was founded by Marios Iliopoulos and his close friend Gus G in June 2000. They made three demos from 2001 to 2002. Their debut album, '' Sweet Vengeance'', was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per Möller Jensen (The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq. The album features an entirely new lineup, excluding guitarist Marios Iliopoulos and bassist Henric Carlsson. ''A New Disease Is Born'' appears in the lyrics to the song "Drug" from the previous album '' Descent into Chaos'', which suggests a possible origin for the name of this album. ''Dead by April'' is the debut album from Swedish metal band Dead by April, released on 13 May 2009. It is the only album to feature former guitarist Johan Olsson. The album entered the Swedish album charts at No. 2, with ''Relapse'' by Eminem at No. 3 and ''21st Century Breakdown'' by Green Day at No. 1. The first single from the album was " Losing You", released on 6 March 2009. On 18 April the track listing, along with the album cover, was released. The album mainly consists of re-recorded demo songs, except for two new tracks called "What Can I Say" and "Sorry for Everything".
