Jim Paidas
Jim Paidas (born April 24, 1956 in Stamford, Connecticut) is an American brand-building executive and intellectual property licensing agent. He was also the drummer in the 1970s and 1980s rock bands ''Ambush'' and ''Rough Cut''. Career Paidas foundePromotion Sales, Ltd.in 1982, a Connecticut-based advertising and promotional merchandise company, working with clients: American Tobacco Co., Nine West, Liz Claiborne, Kenneth Cole Productions, and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Paidas assisted the WWE for twenty years developing their live-venue merchandise programs utilizing branded retail merchandise, premiums, and promotional marketing products. Jon Levin (born March 18, 1966) is an American musician and the current guitarist for heavy metal band Dokken. Biography Early years Jon Levin was involved with music very early on in life. He began playing piano at age four, trumpet by age seven, and guitar at age nine. Instead of having formal lessons, Levin played along to his favorite musicians including Randy Rhoads, Eric Clapton and later George Lynch from Dokken, whose place Levin would eventually take. He played in a club band called Devias at age 19 in the Long Island, New York area, and then auditioned for and joined German band Warlock at age 22. When the grunge scene took over in the early 1990s, Levin took a break from being a musician because he wasn't interested in that type of music. ''American Hot Rod'' is a reality television series that originally aired between 2004 and 2007 on The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel. The series followed renowned car designer Boyd Coddington and his crew as they built hot rods and custom vehicles at his wheel and car shop in La Habra, California. The show was known for its frequent rows and bust ups, and a high staff turnover rate. Some crew members went to work for ''Overhaulin'''s Chip Foose, a former partner of Coddington's, for a more relaxed environment; even Boyd's own son could not work there for long. Boyd Coddington (August 28, 1944 – February 27, 2008) was an American hot rod designer, the owner of the Boyd Coddington Hot Rod Shop, and star of ''American Hot Rod'' on TLC (TV channel), TLC. Early life, education and early career Coddington grew up in Rupert, Idaho, reading all the car and hot rod magazines he could, and got his first car (a 1931 Chevrolet truck) at age 13. He attended machinist trade school and completed a three-year apprenticeship in machining.
