Jim Guest is an American politician, former aerospace engineer, and former Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives from District 5. He was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2002, winning reelection in 2004, 2006, and 2008. By Missouri term limit law, Guest was ineligible to run again in 2010. Dan Hegeman
Daniel Jay Hegeman (born March 4, 1963) is a Republican member of the Missouri Senate, representing the 12th district, which covers parts of northwestern Missouri. He was first elected unopposed in 2014. Hegeman previously served as president of the Andrew County Farm Bureau, member of the Nodaway County Economic Development Board, and member of the Maryville and Savannah Chambers of Commerce. Glen Klippenstein (born May 29, 1937) was a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Klippenstein represented the 5th District, encompassing all or parts of Buchanan, Clinton, De Kalb and Gentry counties in northwest Missouri. King City, Missouri
King City is a city in southwest Gentry County, Missouri, United States. The population was 799 at the 2020 census. History John Pittsenbarger was the first European settler when he set up a tent in town in 1856. His application to name the town Petersburg was rejected because there was already a town of that name in Boone County, Missouri. According to local legend, the United States Postmaster General submitted his name. The Postmaster General at the time was Horatio King, (although the local history refers to Rufus King) The town became a stop on the St. Joseph and Des Moines Railway in 1878. The railway eventually became part of the Burlington Northern network and is currently abandoned.
