Jim Beardmore
Jim Beardmore is a former All-American lacrosse goalie, and coach. He was formerly the head coach for the Hamburg Warriors B-Team. He is the son of former University of Maryland coach and Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee Clayton "Buddy" Beardmore. Beardmore attended University of Maryland after graduating from The Severn School in Severna Park, MD. In 1987 was awarded the Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award as the NCAA's Goalie of the Year. In addition, Beardmore was named a first team All-American, Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, and received first-team All-ACC mention. Beardmore played five seasons in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League with the Washington Wave and the Pittsburgh Bulls. Beardmore served as head coach for the Denver Outlaws of the Major League Lacrosse in the 2007 MLL season. Major Indoor Lacrosse League
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. The league is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The NLL currently has fifteen teams: ten in the United States and five in Canada. Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins with the indigenous people of North America as early as the 12th century. The game was extensively modified by European colonists, reducing the violence, to create its current collegiate and professional form. Quint Kessenich
Quint Elroy Kessenich ( ; born November 22, 1967) is an American Sports commentator, sportscaster for ESPN on ABC, ABC and ESPN television covering lacrosse, basketball, football, hockey, wrestling and Thoroughbred Racing on ESPN, horse racing since 1993. He is a former All-American lacrosse goalkeeper. He attended the Johns Hopkins University from 1987 to 1990, where he was a two-time winner of the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award as the nation's best goalie. Kessenich played one year of professional lacrosse with the Baltimore Thunder in 1999, and played at the amateur level for the storied Mount Washington Lacrosse Club. Colorado Academy is an independent nonsectarian, co-educational, college preparatory day school for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. Severna Park High School is a public high school in the United States located in the suburban CDP of Severna Park, Maryland. It is a part of the Anne Arundel County Public Schools system. Major League Lacrosse
Major League Lacrosse (MLL) was a men's field lacrosse league in the United States. The league's inaugural season was in 2001. Teams played anywhere from ten to 16 games in a summertime regular season. This was followed by a four-team playoff for the championship trophy, the Steinfeld Trophy, named after founder Jake Steinfeld. League attendance peaked at 6,417 in 2011 and the 2019 average was 4,587. The Chesapeake Bayhawks and New York Lizards (originally the Baltimore Bayhawks and Long Island Lizards) were MLL members throughout its existence and competed in the first three championship games, with the Lizards winning two. The Boston Cannons, the last of the six charter franchises to remain in their original market with their original name, won their first championship in 2011. Denver Outlaws
The Denver Outlaws were a Major League Lacrosse professional men's field lacrosse team based in Denver, Colorado, United States. They began playing in the MLL in 2006 as an expansion team. Since joining the league, the Outlaws have played in the championship game a league-record ten times. They have only missed the playoffs once in franchise history and have never had a losing season. The Outlaws regularly post the highest attendance in the league.
