''Jesus não Tem Dentes no País dos Banguelas'' (Portuguese for "Jesus Has no Teeth in the Land of the Toothless") is the fourth studio album by Brazilian rock band Titãs, released on November 23, 1987. Like its predecessor ''Cabeça Dinossauro'', it was produced by Liminha and featured electronic music experimentations and funk rock influences, besides tackling social issues in its lyrics. Its recording took place at Nas Nuvens studio in Rio de Janeiro and lasted for little more than two months. It was promoted at the 1988 Hollywood Rock, which boosted the band's popularity. Songs such as "Lugar Nenhum", "Nome aos Bois" and especially "Comida", which became an anthem for student activists, became notorious among the public. Titãs
Titãs () are a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. Though they basically play pop/alternative rock, their music has touched a number of other styles throughout their 30-year career, such as new wave, punk rock, grunge, MPB and electronic music. They are one of the most successful rock bands in Brazil, having sold more than 6.3 million albums as of 2005 and having been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and a couple of international singers. They were awarded a Latin Grammy in 2009 and have won the Imprensa Trophy for Best Band a record four times. Cemitério da Consolação is a cemetery in São Paulo, Brazil. Located along the north side of Rua da Consolação in the district of Consolação, it was founded on 15 August 1858, with the name of Cemitério Municipal, being the city's first public graveyard. The Town House (also known as Townhouse Studios) was a recording studio located at 150 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush in London, built in 1978 under the direction of Richard Branson for Virgin Records. The studios changed ownership and eventually ceased operation in 2008, with luxury apartments now in its place.
