Jessy Deminguet
Jessy Deminguet (born 7 January 1998) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Strasbourg. Club career A member of the Caen youth academy starting in 2009, Deminguet started training with the first team in September 2017. He made his professional debut for Caen in a 5–0 Ligue 1 loss to Marseille on 5 November 2017. On 10 February 2023, Deminguet signed a pre-contract agreement with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, joining the club in the summer. International career Deminguet received a call-up to represent the France national under-20 football team for the 2018 Toulon Tournament on 17 May 2018. The 2022–23 Championnat National 2 was the 25th season of the fourth tier in the French football league system in its current format. This season the competition was contested by 64 clubs split geographically across four groups of 16 teams. The teams included amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. The competition started on 20 August 2022 and completed on 3 June 2023. The 2019–20 Ligue 2 (referred to as the Domino's Pizza, Domino's Ligue 2 for sponsorship reasons) season was the 81st season since its establishment. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 28 April 2020, the French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe announced that there would be no sporting events, even behind closed doors, before September 2020, thus in effect ending the season. On 30 April 2020, the LFP declared FC Lorient, Lorient as champions of Ligue 2, and that the top two clubs would be promoted to 2020–21 Ligue 1, Ligue 1, meaning RC Lens, Lens were promoted as well.
