Jesse Hughes (musician)
Jesse Everett Hughes (born September 24, 1972) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Eagles of Death Metal, with whom he has recorded four studio albums and a live album. Hughes is also known for his solo career under the moniker Boots Electric. Early life Jesse Everett Hughes was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on September 24, 1972. At age seven, he moved with his mother Jo Ellen to Palm Desert, California. In high school, he met Josh Homme, and they became good friends after Homme stopped a bully from picking on Hughes. He graduated from Greenville Technical College with a degree in journalism and worked as the manager of a video depot in Palm Desert for several years. Henry Lawrence Garfield (born February 13, 1961), known professionally as Henry Rollins, is an American singer, writer, spoken word artist, actor, and presenter. After performing in the short-lived hardcore punk band State of Alert in 1980, Rollins fronted the California hardcore band Black Flag from 1981 to 1986. '' Gutterdämmerung '' is a 2016 rock music film directed by Björn Tagemose, promoted as being "the loudest silent movie ever". The film features a score provided by a live rock band. The film stars Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Henry Rollins, Lemmy, Nina Hagen, Tom Araya, Slash, Jesse Hughes, and Josh Homme and Justice. The film is shot in black and white in the tradition of classic silent film of 1920's Hollywood, but instead of having backing piano music, a live rock group hammers out the accompanying soundtrack, whilst special effects from the film explode to life all around the audience. Bjorn Tagemose (born 11 June 1969) is an Antwerp based, Swedish photographer and creative director. Biography Having his roots in Scandinavia, he combines the strong image language of the North and his fashion experiences with the popular Antwerp-designer scene. Omnibus Press is a publisher of music-related books. It publishes around 30 new titles a year to add to a backlist of over 250 titles currently in print. History Omnibus Press was launched in 1972 as a general non-fiction publisher to complement the sheet music published and distributed by its parent company Music Sales Group.
