Jerusalem Township is one of the eleven townships of Lucas County, Ohio, United States. The 2010 census found 3,109 people in the township. Geography Located in the far eastern part of the county along the shores of Lake Erie, it borders the following townships and city: * Put-in-Bay Township, Ottawa County - east, across Lake Erie * Carroll Township, Ottawa County - southeast * Benton Township, Ottawa County - south * Allen Township, Ottawa County - southwest *Oregon - west No municipalities are located in Jerusalem Township, although the unincorporated communities of Bono, Curtice, and Yondota lie in the township's southwest, southwest, and south. Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge
Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1964 when the owners of the Cedar Point Shooting Club donated the land to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The refuge is now about of marsh that is divided into three pools. The largest one is almost , it is the largest contiguous marsh in Ohio’s Lake Erie marshes. This refuge is mostly closed off to the public, but between June and August, about 40 acres are open for fishing. Beatosu and Goblu are two non-existent towns in Fulton and Lucas counties in the US state of Ohio, respectively. They were inserted into the 1978–1979 edition of the official state of Michigan map. The names refer to the slogan of University of Michigan fans (" Go Blue!") and a reference to their archrivals from Ohio State University ("Beat OSU"). West Sister Island
West Sister Island is an island of the U.S. state of Ohio located in the Western Basin of Lake Erie. The island, jointly owned by the United States Coast Guard and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is Ohio's only designated Wilderness Area, the West Sister Island National Wildlife Refuge. Most of the island is covered with trees. Tall hackberry trees make up most of the canopy, with poison ivy on the ground.
