Jeroen Jongeleen
Jeroen Jongeleen (born 2 November 1967, Apeldoorn) is a Dutch artist. His artwork has been influenced by graffiti art and textual art and is often created in public spaces. In his artworks Jongeleen criticizes today’s over regulated society. Biography Jongeleen lives and works in Rotterdam and Paris. He studied at the AKI Academy for Art and Design in Enschede, where he graduated in 1994. In 1997, he moved to Rotterdam where he did one of his first interventions in public space. With a spray can he wrote the word ‘HOME’ on the outside wall of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. He was arrested for this action, but it was the start of a close relationship with the museum. In 1999, he participated in the group exhibition ''Exorcism/Aesthetic Terrorism, 2000'' in the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. In 2003, Jongeleen moved to Paris where he stayed at Atelier Holboer. Apeldoorn
Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. The municipality of Apeldoorn, including villages like Beekbergen, Loenen (Apeldoorn), Loenen, Ugchelen and Hoenderloo, had a population of 165,525 on 1 December 2021. White Cube is a contemporary art gallery founded by Jay Jopling in London in 1993. The gallery has two branches in London: White Cube Mason's Yard in central London and White Cube Bermondsey in South East London; White Cube Hong Kong, in Central, Hong Kong Island; White Cube Paris, at 10 avenue Matignon in Paris; and White Cube West Palm Beach, which opened at 2512 Florida Avenue in 2020 and operates annually in West Palm Beach, Florida, from winter through to spring. The Cobra Museum of Modern Art ( nl, Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst) is an art museum in Amstelveen in the Netherlands.
