Jeffrey Waldron
Jeffrey Waldron is an American cinematographer and director. Waldron worked on various feature films and TV series, including '' Little Fires Everywhere'', ''Dear White People'', '' Transpecos'', '' You Hurt My Feelings'', and ''Haunted Mansion''. With Shannon Service he also co-directed ''Ghost Fleet'', a 2018 award-winning documentary about immigrants tricked into forced labor on fishing ships in Thailand. Career Jeffrey served as cinematographer on the 2011 film '' The Dynamiter'', for which he was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Independent Spirit Awards. In 2012, he made his directorial debut with series ''Remixed'', which was nominated for best directing (non-fiction) at the IAWTV Awards. The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) is one of the most important international events dedicated to cinema and human rights, located in the heart of Geneva, "international capital of human rights". The inspiration and impetus behind the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights came from human rights defenders active in NGO's, filmmakers, media representatives and the University of Geneva. The FIFDH coincides with the UN Human Rights Council's main session.
