Jefferson Savarino
Jefferson David Savarino Quintero (born 11 November 1996) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake and the Venezuela national team. Club career Real Salt Lake On 9 May 2017, Savarino joined Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake on loan from Zulia of Venezuela. He subsequently signed permanently for the club. In total, he scored 22 goals in three seasons with RSL. In May of 2022, RSL announced that Savarino was resigned to the team. Atlético Mineiro On 7 February 2020, Real Salt Lake announced the transfer of Savarino to Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro. The Venezuela national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Venezuela) represents Venezuela in men's international football and is controlled by the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF), the governing body for football in Venezuela. They are nicknamed ''La Vinotinto'' ("Red wine") because of the traditional burgundy color of their shirts. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the ''Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". James Gamble Nippert Memorial Stadium is an outdoor stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. Campeonato Mineiro is the state football league of the state of Minas Gerais and is controlled by the Minas Gerais Football Federation FMF (Federação Mineira de Futebol). The 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaà 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 64th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 17th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The Leagues Cup is an annual association football competition between clubs from Major League Soccer and Liga MX in North America. It debuted in July 2019 with four teams participating from each league. The first edition was a single-elimination tournament hosted in the United States with a final played in Las Vegas on September 18, 2019. Beginning in 2023, the tournament will be expanded to include all clubs from MLS and Liga MX, and will function as the regional cup for the North American zone within CONCACAF, with the top three teams qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League.
