K-12
K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide. Founded in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii, at its height in the late 90s and the 2000s under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was the largest and most prestigious "Kickboxing" organization in the world. With thousands of fighters and watched by millions of fans around the world. Jefferson, New York
Jefferson is a town in Schoharie County, New York, United States. The population was 1,285 at the 2000 census. The town is on the southwestern border of the county and is east of Oneonta. History The town was first settled around 1793 by New Englanders and was unoccupied by settlers during the American Revolution. In 1803, the town was created from part of the Town of Blenheim. The First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson and Parker 13-Sided Barn are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and (0.28%) is water. The western town line is the border of Delaware County. The West Branch of the Delaware River originates in Jefferson.
