Jeff King (born February 6, 1956) is an American musher and sled dog racer. King moved to Alaska in 1975 and began racing in 1976. A successful sled dog racer, he won the Yukon Quest in 1989, and the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, more commonly known as The Iditarod, is an annual long-distance sled dog race run in early March. Jeff King (baseball)
Jeffrey Wayne King (born December 26, 1964) is a former professional baseball player who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Royals. Career King graduated from Rampart High School in Colorado Springs in 1983. He was drafted first overall by Pittsburgh in the 1986 June Amateur Draft, after playing college ball at the University of Arkansas. He played his 1987–88 seasons with the Eastern Leagues Harrisburg Senators before being promoted to Pittsburgh. King was a key part of the Pirates Division Championship teams of 1990, 1991, and 1992, batting 6th right after Barry Bonds, Andy Van Slyke and Bobby Bonilla. He was plagued by back injuries which forced Bonilla to play third base during the 1990 NLCS. King was then traded after a career-best 1996 season to Kansas City with Jay Bell for Joe Randa. Universe Championships
The Universe Championships are annual worldwide bodybuilding events organised by the National Amateur Body-Builders' Association (NABBA). Originally promoted as the contest, the event was expanded to include women's classes in 1968. Notable previous winners include bodybuilder, actor, and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, and bodybuilder and actor Steve Reeves (1926–2000). Jeffrey Gregory King (born May 1959) is an English financier and association football manager. Life and career King, a former Canvey Island player, took over ownership at Canvey in 1992 and both managed and funded the club's progress through the divisions between 1992 and 2006, where he left them in the Football Conference. In 2006, King announced that he was terminating his association with Canvey and instead took over at Isthmian League Premier Division club Chelmsford City. During his time at Chelmsford, King managed them to the 2007–08 Isthmian League Premier Division title. He then reached the Conference South play-off semi-final in the following season. King (born May 15, 1975) is a former Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing residents of Allen, Woodson, Anderson, Franklin, Coffey, Wilson, Montgomery, Elk, and Chautauqua counties in the 15th Senate district from 2011 until 2017. He was an alderman on Ottawa City Council from 1970 to 1972, and was President of the Ontario Liberal Party from 1973 to 1976.
