Jeff DeGrandis
Jeffrey Maxwell DeGrandis (born December 1, 1957) is an American animator, director, and producer. Currently he's Executive Producer at Warner Bros Animation on "Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz." Jeff has served as Supervising Producer on ''Dora the Explorer'', ''Go, Diego, Go!'', and ''Ni Hao, Kai-Lan''. He recently produced, directed, voice directed and created ''The Finster Finster Show!'' short for ''Random! Cartoons'' and voiced Chicken #1. He's had 5 Emmy Nominations, Peabody Award, and won 2 Imagine Awards. Born and raised in Colts Neck, New Jersey, DeGrandis studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts. Prior to entering CalArts, he graduated from Christian Brothers Academy (New Jersey), Christian Brothers Academy and Monmouth University. Dora The Explorer
''Dora the Explorer'' is an American children's animated television series and multimedia franchise created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes and Eric Weiner that premiered on Nickelodeon on August 14, 2000, went on hiatus on June 5, 2014, though later concluded on August 9, 2019 with the release of Dora and the Lost City of Gold. The series was produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio. The show focuses on the adventures of a Latin American girl named Dora and her monkey friend Boots, with an emphasis on teaching children the Spanish language. ''Oh Yeah! Cartoons'' is an American animated anthology series that aired on Nickelodeon. Created by Fred Seibert, it was produced by Frederator Incorporated and Nickelodeon Animation Studio, running as part of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons lineup. In the show's first season, it was hosted by a variety of schoolchildren, and the second season was hosted by Kenan Thompson of ''All That'' and ''Kenan & Kel'', and later Josh Server of ''All That'' in the third and final season. Nick Jr. (known on-air as the Nick Jr. Channel) is an American pay television channel spun off from Nickelodeon's long-running programming block of the same name. It is run by Paramount Global through its networks division's Kids and Family Group. The channel launched on September 28, 2009, and primarily targets preschoolers. Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (March 4, 1932 – April 4, 2001) was an American artist, cartoonist, illustrator, pinstriper and custom car designer and builder who created the hot rod icon Rat Fink and other characters. Roth was a key figure in Southern California's Kustom Kulture and hot rod movement of the late 1950s and 1960s. Early life Roth was born in Beverly Hills, California. He was the son of Marie (Bauer) and Henry Roth. He grew up in Bell, California, attending Bell High School, where his classes included auto shop and art.
