Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. Devin Britton (born March 17, 1991) is an American professional tennis player. He is a native of Brandon, Mississippi. He is currently an assistant coach for the Ole Miss Rebels men's tennis team. Tennis career Juniors Britton's most notable ITF junior tournament win was in June 2008, when he captured the International Grass Courts Championships. John William Peers (born 25 July 1988) is an Australian professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He won his first Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam title at the 2017 Australian Open – Men's doubles, 2017 Australian Open, where he and Henri Kontinen won the men's doubles event. He attended the University of Tennessee from 2007 through 2011 where he was a four-time All-American and made it to the college No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles.
