Jean Joseph Kluger (born 31 March 1937) is a Belgian record producer, music publisher and composer. Biography Jean Kluger was born in Antwerp, Belgium, the eldest son of Jacques and Adela Kluger. His career started in 1957, working for his father's company, World Music. He established his own company, Editions Jean Kluger, after the death of his father in 1963, and in 1965 moved to Paris where he established the company Bleu Blanc Rouge with his wife Huguette Ferly. Dana Winner (born Chantal Ernestine Vanlee on 10 February 1965 in Hasselt) is a Belgian singer. Biography In 1990 she released her first single ''Op het dak van de wereld'', (Dutch: "On the roof of the world"), a cover of The Carpenters' '' Top of the World'' from 1973. "Hands Up (Give Me Your Heart)" is a 1981 song by Ottawan. It was the band's second-biggest international hit single, after their 1979 hit "D.I.S.C.O.". The song reached the Top 5 across Europe and became a number one in New Zealand. It was not released in North America until 1991 as a remix. There was a French version, called ''Haut les mains (donne moi ton cœur),'' whose translation is nearly the same as the English title. Ottawan is a French pop music duo, who had the hit singles "D.I.S.C.O." and "Hands Up (Give Me Your Heart)" in the early 1980s. Fronted by Patrick Jean-Baptiste and Annette Eltice, they were masterminded through a cooperation between French producer Daniel Vangarde and Belgian producer Jean Kluger. The Gibson Brothers are a French musical group, originally from Martinique, who had their greatest success during the disco boom of the late 1970s. Daniel Vangarde
Daniel Bangalter (, born 1947), known in his musical career as Daniel Vangarde, is a French songwriter and producer. He co-wrote and produced a number of hit records in the 1970s, including " Aie a Mwana", "D.I.S.C.O." (recorded by Ottawan), and "Cuba" (The Gibson Brothers). Biography In the early 1970s, as Daniel Vangarde, he worked with French singers, husband and wife Ringo (real name Guy Bayle) and Sheila (later known as Sheila B. "Aie a Mwana" is a song originally written by the French-Belgian writing and production team of Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger. It was first recorded in 1971 under the title "Aieaoa" on the album ''Le Monde fabuleux des Yamasuki''. In 1975, a version with predominantly Swahili lyrics by Black Blood, an African group recording in Belgium, was released as "A.I.E. (A Mwana)". The Swahili version also appeared in a football video game, ''Pro Evolution Soccer 2011''. In 1981, "Aie a Mwana" became the first single released by English group Bananarama.
