Jaymz Bee And The Royal Jelly Orchestra
Jaymz Bee and the Royal Jelly Orchestra is a Canadians, Canadian lounge music and jazz band formed in Toronto. This group of about a dozen musicians, led by Bee (whose real name is James Doyle) released eight albums of cover versions of well-known songs, reinterpreted for performance in cocktail lounges. History The band was formed by Jaymz Bee (current host of "Jazz in the City" on CJRT-FM), following the breakup of The Look People, and were quickly offered a spot on Molly Johnson's Kumbaya Festival bill. The group's f self-titled album was released in 1995. The band's best known album was 1997's ''Cocktail: Shakin' and Stirred'', released by BMG. Melleny Melody (born Melleny Brown; 12 May 1969), also known as Melleefresh, is a Canadian actress and singer. Biography Melleny Brown was born in Toronto, Ontario. Originally known for her vocal work in cartoons, she played Cheer Bear and Baby Tugs in DIC Entertainment and Nelvana's animated ''Care Bears'' franchise. During the 1980s, she starred as female villains in ''Inspector Gadget'', and '' Star Wars: Ewoks''. She also appeared in Nelvana's first feature film, ''Rock & Rule'', in 1983. During the 1990s, Brown legally changed her name to Melleny Melody and became active in the dance music scene, first in live performances in Toronto and then as a recording artist. Moxy Früvous was a Canadian politically satirical folk-pop band from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. The band was founded in 1989, and was active until 2001. Ed the Sock is a sock puppet character, created and voiced by Steven Joel Kerzner, who first appeared on Canadian local cable television in 1987. He is best known for his hosting appearances in the 1990s on MuchMusic and his own late night talk show, '' Ed's Night Party''. Richard Underhill is a Canadian jazz saxophonist. A founding member of the jazz fusion group The Shuffle Demons, he has toured Europe and Canada to critical acclaim for over 27 years.
