Jayden Peevy
Jayden Peevy (born September 3, 1999) is an American football defensive tackle for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M and was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in . Early life and education Peevy was born on September 3, 1999, in Bellaire, Texas. He attended Bellaire High School and played football, recording 77 tackles and 10 sacks as a senior while being named U.S. Army All-American. He was a four-star recruit and was ranked the fifth-best defensive end in Texas, the ninth-best strongside defensive end nationally, and the 34th-best in the state. Peevy initially committed to play college football at Baylor, but switched to Texas A&M after the firing of Baylor's coach. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. The All-American Bowl is a high school football all-star game, held annually at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Typically played in January, the All-American Bowl is played between all-star teams representing the eastern and western United States. Seventeen All-Americans have been Heisman Trophy finalists, with over 450 later playing in the National Football League. The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game for NFL draft-eligible college players, held annually in January. The event was founded in 2012 by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). UAB Blazers Football
The UAB Blazers football team represents the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the sport of American football. The Blazers compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and American Athletic Conference (The American). A field goal (FG) is a means of scoring in gridiron football. To score a field goal, the team in possession of the ball must place kick, or drop kick, the ball through the goal, i.e., between the uprights and over the crossbar.
