Jayananda Lama
Jayananda Lama ( ne, जयानन्द लामा; 1956 – 23 February 2022) was a Nepalese folk singer and actor. Biography Lama was born in Bahrabise, Nepal, and won a consolation prize in a national competition when he was 13. He earned his Bachelor's diploma in classical music from Lalit Kala Campus in India and his master's degree in classical music from Allahabad University, India. He worked at the Royal Nepal Academy and in Radio Nepal as the Head of Folk Department. He made his acting debut in the movie ''Man Ko Bandh'' (1973). Since then, he had acted in more than a hundred movies. Bahrabise
Bahrabise ( ne, बाह्रबिसे) is an urban municipality located in Sindhupalchok District of Bagmati Province of Nepal. Demographics At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6132 and had 1161 houses in the village. Development It lies on Araniko Highway - the 114 km-long highway which connects the capital city Kathmandu to the Chinese border in the north. The area touching the highway is very developed compared to other areas and hence called 'Bahrabise Bazar'. Each ward in the VDC is connected to the highway by graveled roads. The Kingdom of Nepal ( ne, नेपाल अधिराज्य), also known as the Gorkha Empire ( ne, गोरखा अधिराज्य) or Asal Hindustan ( ne, असल हिन्दुस्तान)(), was a Hindu kingdom in South Asia, formed in 1768, by the unification of Nepal. Radio Nepal ( ne, रेडियो नेपाल) is the state-owned Radio broadcasting organisation of Nepal. It was established 2 April 1951. Radio Nepal airs programs on short wave, medium wave (AM broadcasting, AM) and FM broadcasting, FM frequencies. Regular broadcasts consume sixteen hours every day, including two hours of regional broadcasts. Public holidays feature an additional two hours.
