Jaya Bhaduri
Jaya Bachchan (''née'' Bhaduri; born 9 April 1948) is an Indian actress and politician. She is a member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from the Samajwadi Party, serving four terms since 2004. Known primarily for her work in Hindi and Bengali cinema, she is noted for reinforcing a natural style of acting in both mainstream and "middle-of-the-road" cinema. Gulzar, p. 457 She has received several accolades, including nine Filmfare Awards and the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour awarded by the Government of India. A Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha (abbreviated: MP) is the representative of the Indian states to the one of the two houses of the Parliament of India (Rajya Sabha). Rajya Sabha MPs are elected by the electoral college of the elected members of the State Assembly with a system of proportional representation by a single transferable vote. ''Uphaar'' is a 1971 Hindi film. Produced by Tarachand Barjatya for Rajshri Productions, the film stars Jaya Bhaduri, Swarup Dutta and Kamini Kaushal. The music is by Laxmikant Pyarelal. This film is based on the 1893 short story "Samapti" (The End) by Rabindranath Tagore. Hrishikesh Mukherjee (30 September 1922 – 27 August 2006) was an Indian film director, editor and writer. He is regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of Indian cinema. ''Guddi'' is a 1971 Hindi drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and written by Gulzar. It starred Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Utpal Dutt. It is Jaya Bachchan (née Bhaduri)'s career-making film in which she plays a schoolgirl who has a crush on and is obsessed with the actor Dharmendra, who plays himself.
