Jay Alexander (born April 10, 1968) is an American magician and comedian known as a corporate and society entertainer. He has appeared on ''The Today Show'', '' Good Morning America'' and MTV, and also on many local morning shows. Magic, which encompasses the subgenres of illusion, stage magic, and close up magic, among others, is a performing art in which audiences are entertained by tricks, effects, or illusions of seemingly impossible feats, using natural means. Haight-Ashbury () is a district of San Francisco, California, named for the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets. It is also called The Haight and The Upper Haight. The neighborhood is known as one of the main centers of the counterculture of the 1960s.
