Javorniški Rovt
Javorniški Rovt () is a settlement in the Municipality of Jesenice in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is located in the foothills of the Karawanks, above its namesake settlement of Slovenski Javornik (which occupies the floor of the Sava Valley.) Name The name ''Javorniški Rovt'' literally means 'Javornik meadow', referring to the geographical location of the settlement. The common noun ''rovt'' 'glade, clearing', refers to a meadow on cleared land in a hilly area and is derived from Old High German ''rût'' 'clearing'. Koroška Bela
Koroška Bela (; german: Kärntner Vellach) is a settlement in the Municipality of Jesenice in northwestern Slovenia. The village has long been a center of iron mining and processing; until recently a majority of its inhabitants were employed in the steel industry. Geography Koroška Bela is the first part of the Municipality of Jesenice that one encounters when approaching from the southeast, from the Ljubljana direction. The village is located in a valley between four hills: Malnež and Obesenk (to the east), and Alnica and Strana (northwest). Pristava, Jesenice
The Pristava House ( sl, Dom Pristava) is a manor house in the foothills of the Karawanks Alpine range in the Municipality of Jesenice in northern Slovenia. It is located at an elevation of , above the settlement of Javorniški Rovt. It is a popular excursion point. The house was built in 1641 or 1647 as a mountain chalet for the local ironworks-owning lower nobility and has recently been renovated. At the beginning of the 18th century the building belonged to Karl von Zois, a nobleman and Enlightenment botanist who established the second botanical park in Carniola at the site. The park still exists and features a variety of local and exotic trees. The Pristava House features an inn, a restaurant, and an open-air dance-floor.
