Javier Prado Avenue
The Javier Prado Avenue ( es, Avenida Javier Prado) is one of the main avenues of Lima, capital of Peru. By its length it is the second largest avenue of the city, after the Universitaria Avenue. It goes from west to east, going through the districts of Magdalena del Mar, San Isidro, Lince, La Victoria, San Borja, Santiago de Surco, Ate and La Molina along 135 blocks. It is divided into two segments: ''East Javier Prado'' from the Arequipa Avenue until its end in the Ate District (This last section is called ''Prolongación Javier Prado'') with a total of 101 blocks, and ''West Javier Prado'' from the Arequipa Avenue until its beginning in the Brasil Avenue in the Magdalena del Mar district, with a total of 34 blocks. Puruchuco
Puruchuco is an archaeological site in Peru that was an administrative center of the Inca period (1438–1533), located in the Ate District, in Lima. History The construction of this architectural complex comes from the Inca culture. Puruchuco is located in the sector Huaquerones, a land of pyramids with ramps that contains one of the largest cemeteries in the Inca culture, have recently been studied by archeology. There are also complex areas as Puruchuca, San Juan de Pariachi and Huaycán. Of these Puruchuco is the smallest. Therefore, while this monument was the palace of a curaca (ruler) where he lived and managed, should be subject to other curacas with greater responsibility and power. Estadio Monumental "U"
The Estadio Monumental (''Monumental Stadium'') is a football stadium in the district of Ate in Lima, Peru. It is the home of Club Universitario de Deportes, and it was opened in 2000 to replace the Estadio Teodoro Lolo Fernandez. Its only legal owner is the club itself. Designed by Progreso International and Gremco S.A., Uruguayan architect Walter Lavalleja Sarriés led the construction of the stadium. At the time of its construction, it became Peru's largest stadium and also the 5th largest in South America. Since its expansion to 80,000 capacity in early 2020s, it has become the largest stadium by seating capacity on the continent. The stadium was built in accordance with FIFA’s manual of technical specifications for World Cup finals. The University of Lima ( es, Universidad de Lima) is a private nonprofit university in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1962 and it is considered one of the most prestigious and remembered universities in Peru. The decision to create the University of Lima was made in the early 1960s by a group of university professors, along with commerce and industry representatives gathered in the Civil Association PRODIES (Promotion of Industrial Development through Higher Education). It was after two years of effort that they managed to start it. It officially started operating on 25 April 1962. Museo De La Nación
The Museo de la Nación (English: ''Museum of the Nation'') is one of two major museums of Peruvian history in Lima, Peru. It is much larger than the other main museum in Lima, the Peruvian National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology, and History. Currently it is no longer being used as a museum, carrying only very sporadic exhibitions. The Museum of the Nation housed thousands of artifacts spanning the entire span of human occupation in Peru, including an impressive collection of Moche, Nazca, and Wari ceramics. The museum also houses reproductions of many famous ancient Andean artifacts, most notably the Lanzón from Chavín de Huantar ; a recreation of the burial chamber of the Lord of Sipan ( El Señor de Sipán); and the famous Revolt of the Objects Mural. Interbank is a Peruvian provider of financial services. History In 1897, Elias Mujica opened an agency at Jiron de la Union in Lima's historical center under the name of ''Banco Internacional''. In 1934, branches were opened in Chiclayo and Arequipa, and later expansions included Piura, Sullana and other places in Peru. Under the military government of Juan Velasco Alvarado, in 1970, the national bank (Banco de la Nacion) purchased ''Banco Internacional'' and changed its name to "Banca Asociada del Pais".
