Javier Carpio
Javier Carpio Martín (born 6 April 1984) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right back for Palencia CF. Club career Born in Salamanca, Castile and León, Carpio was an UD Salamanca youth graduate. After making his debut as a senior with the reserves in the 2003–04 season, he moved to Deportivo Alavés in 2004. Carpio appeared for the Basques' C and B teams during his tenure, the latter competing in the Segunda División B. Subsequently, he joined Tercera División club Mazarrón CF in 2006. After a one-year spell at Pinatar CF also in the fourth level, Carpio signed for division three side CD Alcoyano. He was an undisputed starter in his two seasons, missing out on play-off promotion in both of them. On 23 July 2010, Carpio was presented at Elche CF from Segunda División. Javier Flaño
Javier 'Javi' Flaño Bezunartea (born 19 August 1984) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He represented Spain up to under-23 level, and spent most of his career with Osasuna. Club career A product of hometown CA Osasuna's youth system, Flaño was born in Pamplona, and he made his debut with the first team in a La Liga 2–1 home win against Villarreal CF on 28 August 2005, going on to finish his first season with 31 games. Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero
The Estadio Martínez Valero is a stadium located in the Spanish city of Elche in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community. It is the home stadium of Elche CF, a team that is currently playing in La Liga. Its name pays tribute to the late president of the club, Manuel Martínez Valero. The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. The first goal of the season was scored by Javi Guerra, who scored a sixth-minute goal for Real Valladolid against Villarreal B in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Hernán Pérez from Villarreal B in their opening game against Valladolid. Jordi Xumetra Feliú (born 24 October 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for UE Olot. Club career Born in L'Estartit, Girona, Catalonia, Xumetra finished his development at FC Barcelona, but only played for Tercera División clubs in his first years as senior. In 2006, he signed with Girona FC also in that league, being part of the squads that achieved two consecutive promotions in two years. On 30 August 2008, Xumetra appeared in his first match as a professional, coming on as a late substitute in a 1–0 away win over RC Celta de Vigo in the Segunda División. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
