Javi Rey (footballer, Born 1985)
Javier "Javi" Rey Pérez (born 13 January 1985) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a forward, and the manager of SD Ponferradina. Career Born in Ourense, Galicia, Rey played for local sides SD Melias and Sporting Celanova CF before retiring in 2008 at the age of 23, due to a knee injury. Shortly after retiring, he returned to Melias and became their manager in the Primeira Autonómica. In 2010, Rey was appointed manager of fellow sitxh division side CD Barco, but had to leave the club for personal reasons in the following year, and subsequently took over SD Nogueira de Ramuín of the same league. In 2013, Rey returned to Barco, with the club now in the Preferente Autonómica. He led the side to promotion to Tercera División in 2015, before leaving in May 2018. 2018–19 Tercera División
The 2018–19 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began in August 2018 and ended in late June 2019 with the promotion play-off finals. Competition format *The top four eligible teams in each group would play the promotion playoffs. *The champion of each group would qualify to 2019–20 Copa del Rey. The Primera Federación, formerly known as Primera División RFEF, is the third tier of the Spanish football league system beginning with the 2021–22 season. 2022–23 Segunda Federación
The 2022–23 Segunda Federación season will be the second for the Segunda Federación, the new fourth highest level in the Spanish football league system. Ninety teams will participate, divided into five groups of eighteen clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Primera Federación, and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs. The last five teams in each group will be relegated to the Tercera Federación; in addition, the four worst teams classified 13th in their group will play play-offs to define the last two relegation places.
