Brighton
Brighton () is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the City of Brighton and Hove in the county of East Sussex, England. It is located south of London. WSF World Team Squash Championships
The WSF World Team Squash Championships are an international squash competition organised by the World Squash Federation (WSF) and played between teams representing different nations. Countries enter teams of three or four players to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-three singles matches contest. 2022 Women's World Team Squash Championships
The 2022 Women's World Team Squash Championships was the women's edition of the 2022 World Team Squash Championships, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event, held at the Madinaty Sports Club in Cairo, took place from 10 to 16 December 2022. The tournament was organised by the World Squash Federation. The Egypt team won its fifth World Team Championships, beating the United States team in the final. Two teams made debuts at the championship, with Chinese Taipei and Ukraine appearing for the first time. After the tournament, Japan's Satomi Watanabe was named Tournament MVP after winning all of her matches, while South Africa were named Team of the Tournament. Squash is a racket-and- ball sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow, rubber ball. Official Women's Squash World Ranking
The Official Women's Squash World Ranking is the official world ranking for women's squash. The ranking is to rate the performance level of female professional squash player. It is also a merit-based method used for determining entry and seeding in women's squash tournaments. The rankings are produced monthly. The current world number one is Nouran Gohar of Egypt, who replaced Raneem El Welily in July 2020. The WISPA, the WSA and the PSA has used a computerized system for determining the rankings since April 1984. PSA ranking policy Players competing in PSA tournaments earn ranking points according to how far they get in the draw. The points available depend on the prize money and the draw size. The monthly rankings (issued on the 1st of the month) are used in selecting entries to tournaments and in determining the seeds. British National Squash Championships
The British National Squash Championships are the national squash championships for players from the United Kingdom & Ireland. They are held annually in early February, currently in Nottingham. The Championships were inaugurated in 1974 are not to be confused with the British Open Squash Championships which is open to all nationalities and is the oldest squash tournament. The championships also involve masters events for British squash players in different age groups.
