Jasmin Muharemović
Jasmin Muharemović (; born 22 February 1965) is a Bosnian pop-folk singer. In 1983 he moved in Požarevac in order to meet Novica Urošević, the folk hit-maker, and start a professional folk singer career. Muharemović's first album sold 250,000 copies, and he had great success as a beginner. In 1994, due to the war in his home country, formerly a part of Yugoslavia, he moved to Vienna. He lives between Vienna and his birth city Tešanj. He has three sisters and three brothers, one brother being the singer Esad Plavi. Bosnians (Bosnian language: / ; / , / ) are people identified with the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina or with the region of Bosnia. As a common demonym, the term ''Bosnians'' refers to all inhabitants/citizens of the country, regardless of any ethnic, cultural or religious affiliation. It can also be used as a designation for anyone who is descended from the region of Bosnia. Diskos (label)
Diskos was a Yugoslav state-owned record label, founded in 1962 and based in Aleksandrovac, SR Serbia. Initially, Diskos published pop and rock music, publishing records by some of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene, like Iskre, Siluete, Tomi Sovilj i Njegove Siluete, Sanjalice and Novi Fosili, and later moved mostly towards folk music. Turbo-folk (sometimes referred as pop-folk or popular folk) is subgenre of contemporary pop music with its origins in Serbia, that initially developed during the 1980s and 1990s, with similar music styles in Bulgaria (chalga), Romania (manele) and Albania (tallava). It is a fusion genre of popular music, blending Serbian folk music with other genres: such as pop, rock, electronic and some hip-hop. Tešanj ( sr-cyrl, Тешањ) is a town and municipality located in the Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
