Jarett Gandolfo
Jarett Gandolfo (born June 22, 1990) is an American politician who is a member of the New York State Assembly from the 7th district. Elected in 2020, he assumed office on January 1, 2021. Early life and education Gandolfo was raised in West Islip, New York and graduated from West Islip High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and sociology from University at Albany, SUNY and a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University. Career Prior to his election to the New York State Assembly, Gandolfo served as Andrew Garbarino's chief of staff. When Garbarino was elected to the United States House of Representatives, Gandolfo announced his candidacy to succeed him. Gandolfo defeated Democratic nominee Francis T. Genco in the November election and assumed office on January 1, 2021. Andrew Reed Garbarino (born September 27, 1984) is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 2nd congressional district since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the New York State Assemblyman for the 7th district from 2013 to 2020. Early life and education Garbarino was born and raised in Sayville, New York. He graduated from Sayville High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and classical humanities from George Washington University. Andrew Mark Cuomo ( ; ; born December 6, 1957) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 56th governor of New York from 2011 to 2021. West Islip is a hamlet and CDP founded roughly in 1683, located in the Town of Islip in Suffolk County, New York, United States.
